PrimeCare Systems was founded by home care operators who spent years fighting their own software. We built the platform we always wished existed.
Where it started
In 2019, our founder Maria Chen was running a 120-caregiver home care agency in Atlanta. Every week she'd spend hours reconciling schedules across three different tools, chasing down missing EVV records, and manually re-entering data between her billing system and payroll provider.
After a state audit flagged documentation gaps that nearly cost her Medicaid certification, she decided enough was enough. She hired a developer, sketched out what an ideal platform would look like, and started building.
What we set out to build
The goal was simple: one platform that handles everything — scheduling, EVV, billing, payroll, compliance, and reporting — without the duct tape. A system built specifically for home care agencies, not adapted from some generic healthcare or staffing tool.
